Mecc.Al specializes in the design and production of heat sinks and mechanical supports for the electronics industry.
In liquid plates with through holes, the internal cooling circuit channels are obtained directly by extrusion or by deep drilling of solid plates. The channel circuit is obtained by sealing the channels themselves both externally and internally at specific points defined by the design, using watertight plugs positioned to define the desired liquid circulation.
Cost-effectiveness, simplicity of construction and moderate cooling requirements are the predominant features of the design where gun drilled technology is applied.
Various aluminium alloys and coolant inlet and outlet fittings are available, allowing for the production of an LCP with good design flexibility.
