Clip system
The clip system, a combination of heat sink and clamping spring, is particularly used in PCB electronic boards for cooling TO-220, TO-247 and similar packages.
Similar to the traditional screw fastening system, the clip assembly system offers the same heat exchange performance between the heat sink and the electronic component, with significant advantages in terms of technology and productivity. In addition to providing uniform and measured pressure at the centre of the semiconductor device, clip systems greatly simplify both the initial assembly phase and disassembly and reassembly following maintenance.
