Welded heat sink

To obtain wide profiles that cannot be produced directly by extrusion, two or more extruded profiles can be welded together. Welding is extremely flexible in terms of customer dimensional requirements and can be used for any modification to existing profiles.

Mecc.Al uses friction stir welding (FSW) on dedicated machines with a certified process, which allows parts to be welded using the same material they are made of, without any filler material.
